The first sketches were about weight. Ten grams. Held in the hand. Not a token, not a bar.
The dimensions settled at 24.0 × 14.0 × 1.8 millimetres. A single vertical proportion.
The arch was drawn from a Carlo Scarpa courtyard. The satin field, the polished relief, the AA serial and the black case followed from it.
